Our Vision
Lakeside Christian Fellowship is a family of faith connecting people to Christ and to each other.
Our Prayer
"May We Be A Blessing to Lago Vista
and the Communities of the North Shore"

Lakeside Christian Fellowship can only fulfill God's purpose through a loving relationship with God, submission to His will, and a willingness to step forward by faith and trust in Him for the results as we move forward:
-
God speaks by the Holy Spirit through the Bible, prayer, circumstances, and the church.
-
God is always at work in and around our church.
-
As Lakeside Christian Fellowship obeys God, we will come to know Him by experience as He does wonderful things through us.
-
God pursues a continuing love relationship with His church that is real and personal.
-
God invites our church to become involved in His work.
-
When our church sees where God is at work, that is its invitation to join Him.
-
A church will face a crisis of belief when God invites it to become involved in a work only He can accomplish. Faith and action are required.
-
Our church is open to making major adjustments to join God in His work.
-
A church is totally dependent on God for accomplishing tasks of Kingdom value.
-
Apart from God our church can do nothing of Kingdom value.
What is God's Will For Lakeside Christian Fellowship?
Our Leadership
Pastor Paul Rodgers

Paul Rodgers was born to Frederick Ford and Lillian Ruth Rodgers on August 13, 1956, in Lebanon, Pennsylvania. He was the oldest son with one older sister, Brenda, and three younger siblings; Shirley, Charles, and Henry. He graduated from Hobart Senior High School in Hobart, Indiana, in 1974, with an emphasis in College Prep.
Paul became a Christian at age thirteen and was called to preach in his later teens at Camp Zion in Myrtle, Mississippi. He went to William Carey College in Hattiesburg, MS, from 1974 to 1978, and graduated with a BA in Biblical Studies. While in college, he served as a Baptist Student Union Summer Missionary (BSU) in Delta Junction, Alaska, in 1977. He met his wife, Patsy Collins, at the BSU orientation in MS. She was going as a BSU summer missionary to Washington State. Patsy graduated from William Cary College in 1979, with a BS degree in teaching (K-8) and an MS degree in School Counseling from Mississippi State University. Paul and Patsy were married June 7, 1980. They went on to serve as a summer missionary couple on Lake of the Ozarks in Missouri in 1981. He graduated in 1982, with a Master of Divinity from New Orleans Baptist Seminary. After graduation, they returned to Missouri to pastor Ivy Bend Baptist Mission on Lake of the Ozarks (1982-1985). Later, they were called to New Home Baptist Church in Camdenton, Missouri, where they served a little over two years.
In 1987, Paul accepted the call to serve as a U.S. Army Chaplain. He served in various positions for twenty-three years and retired as an Army Major in 2011. During his service, Paul received a Master of Science in Psychology with an emphasis in Marriage and Family from the University of Central Texas in Killen, Texas. Paul pastored a small English-speaking service for six months while the pastor was on furlough. Upon completion of their missionary assignment to Korea, they built a home in Lago Vista, TX, to be near grandchildren.
After visiting Lakeside Christian Fellowship, they joined, and he was later called to be their pastor. They have been serving here for almost two years. The church has since bought and moved into their current building at 3305 Pinnacle Cove Drive.
